One of the most important aspects of a successful mobile application is offline data management. In this webcast, we focus on the considerations you need to make when selecting and using a local device data store, including coverage of Language Integrated Query (LINQ) as it is implemented in the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework. The storage options we cover include Microsoft SQL Server Compact database software, XML, and custom storage solutions. We also look at the tools and techniques that are available for synchronizing device data with remote data stores and the impact of synchronization options on selecting a local device data store.
