Enhancements to the kernel in the Windows Vista operating system enable the NTFS file system and the registry to support transactions. The updated Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) coordinates this activity with Microsoft SQL Server or other transactional resources. In this webcast, we introduce you to Transactional NTFS (TxF) and describe the Windows architecture that supports it. Discover how you can easily add transactional support for NTFS to your programs, and learn about some common design patterns that use transactions.
