Allan Hirt has been using Microsoft SQL Server since 1992, while on a college internship at Sybase, and he has worked with all of the Windows versions of SQL Server since Microsoft SQL Server 4.21a. He has also worked with other relational database management systems over the years, including Oracle, Sybase, and Informix, and he can relate to non-SQL Server database administrators. For the past ten years, Allan has traveled throughout the world, working with customers and delivering training. He is currently based in the Boston, Massachusetts, area. Allan has authored or contributed to whitepapers, webcasts, training courses, and books, and is also a frequent speaker at conferences like Microsoft TechEd and the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) Community Summit. Allan's most recent book is Pro SQL Server 2008 Failover Clustering (Apress, 2009), and his most recent whitepaper on consolidation was published in October, 2009.

Anu Chawla joined Microsoft in 2003 as a technical evangelist in the Developer and Platform Organization. In his current role as a Business Development Manager he works with strategic Global ISV partners. Prior to Microsoft he worked at Siebel Systems for 4 years as a Principal Consultant and Technical Account Manager. At Siebel he helped several large companies such as Philips Medical, Nike and T-Mobile integrate their  Siebel CRM Systems with SAP ERP. Anu has an MS in Computer Science and MBA.

Vishal Arora is Director, Product Management at PTC responsible for Business Intelligence, Third Party Platform roadmaps (e.g. Windows, Microsoft Office and Project integration), Data Services (SQL Server databases), Runtime Architecture, Collaboration Technologies (viz. Outlook integration with Windchill) and Deployment strategies for Windchill.
Vishal has been with PTC for over a decade and has extensive experience managing software teams spread all over the globe. As R&D Director at PTC, he played an instrumental role in achieving several Enterprise milestones for Windchill. Vishal has an MBA from University of Minnesota and MS and Bachelors degree in Computer Science. He also volunteers at a midsize non-profit organization with responsibility for managing all fiscal & budget activities.

Victor Gerdes is a Director in Windchill Product Management as well as in the PTC Enterprise Deployment Center.  He has product management responsibility for Windchill performance and scalability.  Victor also works in the PTC Enterprise Deployment Center providing Windchill deployment guidance to customers and implementers, producing and publishing deployment information and tools, and contributing to system deployment validations of Windchill architectures, on different platforms, environments, and networks.
