extensively with companies in the areas of business process analysis and improvements, database design and architecture, software development, and technical training. In addition to helping his consulting clients, Joe enjoys writing and speaking at technical
conferences. He has spoken at conferences in Europe and North America and has authored books, including The Rational Guide To: SQL Server Notification Services (Rational Press, 2004) and The Rational Guide to: IT Consulting (Rational Press, 2004).
Joe received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Auburn University. He has also earned Microsoft MCDBA, MCSD, MCSE, and MCT certifications
and other non-Microsoft certifications such as the Linux Professional Institute Level I (LPIC-1) certification. Joe is a five-time recipient of the prestigious Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for demonstrating a willingness to share his expertise
