Herain Oberoi is a group product manager for the Microsoft Enterprise Application Platform business group, and he is responsible for product management for Microsoft SQL Server business intelligence and data warehousing. In his prior roles at Microsoft, Herain
has led product planning for SQL Server business intelligence, the SKU strategy for SQL Server 2008, and marketing for SQL Server Reporting Services. Herain also has broad experience product managing developer productivity technologies both at Microsoft and
BEA Systems. At BEA Systems, Herain played a key role in launching the WebLogic Platform 8.1 and was the product marketing manager for the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Enterprise Information Integration (EII) products. Herain has a bachelor's
degree in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
