Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is intended to provide organizations with a higher level of agility, but few are realizing that potential today. The fact is that it does not happen overnight, but you can make meaningful progress immediately and in the long run with a well-designed road map. In this webcast, we educate you on an SOA maturity model that you can use for the basis of your road map and identify the gaps between your current IT capabilities and your business objectives and priorities.   With this road map, you can be in a position to think strategically, while executing tactically to deliver on that promise of agility.

Presenters: William Oellermann, Technology Director, Microsoft Corporation

William Oellermann is the technology director for the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Solutions Team in Microsoft Consulting Services, focused on driving and supporting strategic SOA opportunities across the United States. He speaks internationally, and is the author of numerous articles and the first serious book on the architecture of XML Web Services, Architecting Web Services (Apress, 2001).
