In this session, we review new management tools in Windows Server 2008 designed to help administrators save time and reduce configuration errors. We start by taking an in-depth look at Server Manager, including Server Manager Wizards and configuring roles with Server Manager; we also explore the different elements of the Server Manager interface. Then we look at the new Print Management utility and explore how this utility can manage printers remotely and reduce helpdesk visits to printers.

Harold Wong is an IT Pro Evangelist with the Microsoft TechNet Presenter team. He spent his first five years with Microsoft as a field systems engineer concentrating on Windows, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft Office Live Communications Server. Harold studied hard to snag an impressive array of certifications, including MCSE, MCT, Certified Novell Instructor (CNI), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), and HP Engineering. He loves talking to customers about technology, especially technology related to deployment and technology that can have a positive business impact. Despite his many technological accomplishments, Harold says his biggest challenge has been raising two children.
