Designing Data Protection Manager 2007 (DPM) for Branch Environments highlights two different scenarios within a typical enterprise branch environment. In addition it will highlight new branch-specific features within DPM 2007 SP1. Demo's will be used wherever possible to further illustrate key objectives. The first branch scenario will discuss in depth how to design DPM 2007 for use across WAN links to either centralized or regionalized datacenters. While the second scenario focuses on locating a DPM 2007 server at the branch server. Lastly, attention will be given to DPM's rarely discussed unattended setup option to assist in automated deployments of DPM servers across the enterprise.
