During this presentation, we focus on the common configuration challenges faced by administrators in configuring Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 interoperability. Specifically, we review the requirements that demand mutual configuration such as the UM Gateway, Communications Server Active Directory Contacts, location profile, etc., and their impact on interoperability. We also discuss Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 client logic, such as accessing exchange presence information and voice mail.

Lynn Roe joined Microsoft 11 years ago fulfilling various support / beta capacities for Windows Server, Windows XP, and Exchange. He holds an Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering (Tyler Jr. College) and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (LeTourneau University).
