In this session, we introduce Microsoft Forefront Client Security and show how it enables centralized control and policy-based deployment of client security technology. This helps IT administrators protect their business desktop computers, mobile computers, and server operating systems from spyware, viruses, rootkits, and other threats. Forefront Client Security policies are made up of registry modifications. They can be deployed to Windows-based desktop computers, mobile computers, and servers using Group Policy, Microsoft Systems Management Server, or a third-party deployment product. Learn how Forefront Client Security makes use of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 architecture to monitor clients. With Operations Manager, Forefront Client Security gains responsive alerting capabilities, and also well-designed reports.
