Event Overview
|
MSDN geekSpeak is a new kind of webcast series, hosted this week by MSDN Developer Evangelists
Glen Gordon and
Mithun Dhar from Microsoft. Dispensing with slide decks and scripted demos, geekSpeak webcasts bring you industry experts in a sort of "talk-radio" format. These experts share their knowledge and experience around a particular developer technology, and
are ready to answer your questions real-time during the webcast. Learn about industry trends, new technology, real-world experiences, and more. During the webcasts you can have your questions answered, hear lively discussion and debate, and add your comments
to the fray. Who knows, you might even see a whiteboard sketch or an off-the-cuff demo.
In this geekSpeak, we address one of the most impressive features of Microsoft Silverlight - its support for animations. Cal Schrotenboer covers common issues related to building animations for Silverlight, as well as a review of the limitations which apply
to Silverlight animations in comparison to the broader Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) animation technology. Bring on your Silverlight questions for Cal!
To have a question or comment addressed during the webcast, visit the geekSpeak blog at
http://blogs.msdn.com/geekspeak and submit it.
