TechNet Webcast: Installing and Configuring Search in SharePoint Server 2007 (Level 300)  

In this webcast, we provide a brief overview of the search features in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and show you how to enable basic search across the breadth of disparate data repositories within your enterprise. Learn how to search for data, including people and line-of-business (LOB) applications, without the need for complex coding. We examine installation and configuration of iFilters, content stores, crawl rules, content properties, people search, and search scopes. We also cover the configuration of the Search Center user interface (UI) to provide a tailored user experience specific to your organization.
