What is the XmlHttpRequest object, and why is it in my browser? In this webcast, we discuss the introduction of the enabling technology for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), and how it allows end users to create browser-based applications with a rich user experience. While AJAX is not new technology, we address the challenges and complexities that limited its widespread adoption. We also dive into the rich set of functionality AJAX offers, and show how you can use it in your own applications.
