MSDN Webcast: Developing Next-Generation Web Applications Using AJAX and "Atlas" (Level 200)  

How can you take advantage of Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) in your enterprise Web applications? Which solutions could benefit the most from AJAX capabilities? How does AJAX relate to other solution models like smart clients and traditional Web applications? In this webcast, we address these questions with an overview of ASP.NET code name "Atlas," a free AJAX-based framework from Microsoft. Presenter: Mohammad Akif, Senior Architect, Microsoft Corporation

Mohammad Akif is a senior architect at Microsoft. He is a member of the Microsoft Architecture Editorial Board, and he presents and publishes frequently on Web 2.0, Web services, interoperability, and software architecture best practices. Mohammad has co-authored several publications, including "Java XML Programmer's Reference" (Wrox, 2001). Before joining Microsoft, Mohammad was a senior Java architect at Sun Microsystems Inc., where he contributed in the creation of the Web Services Certification Exam administered by Sun.
