Event Overview

You have the infrastructure, but what do you do with it? Finding effective ways to take advantage of existing tools to better integrate the IT environment is a common headache for administrators and engineers. In the Agility Now series, we describe the challenges a fictional company, Contoso, encounters and illustrate how the firm can better utilize the capabilities of existing Microsoft management tools. This first webcast looks at IT complexity, cost, and enterprise IT challenges, and provides an overview of the Infrastructure Optimization Model (IOM), a framework for planning and rolling out changes in your infrastructure. Learn about the key elements of the IOM, including: identity and access management; desktop engineering; security, networking, and monitoring; backup and restore; and messaging and collaboration for customers using Microsoft Exchange Server as their messaging platform.
