Event Overview

A plain old HTML experience is no longer good enough for the most frequent and valuable users of your Web site. Users now expect rich media integration in addition to increasingly-sophisticated customization and personalization options. Building these richer sites can be difficult and expensive. Asynchronous Java and XML (AJAX) is setting new standards for Web site responsiveness and usability. In this webcast, learn how technologies like Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 "Atlas" (the new Microsoft AJAX framework), the Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation, XAML browser applications (XBAP), and Microsoft Expression can take your browser-based applications to the next level.

Presenter: Anand Iyer, MSDN Developer Community Champion, Microsoft Corporation

Anand Iyer brings a wealth of real-world coding experience to his work as a developer community champion. Before he joined Microsoft, Anand worked for a networking company, pioneering XML-based manageability solutions for an embedded operating system. He is fluent in Microsoft C and Microsoft Visual C++, and also scripting languages such as PERL and Java.
