Event Overview

The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 enables you to write connected applications more easily than ever. This webcast explores the new and improved classes in the System.Net namespace. Learn how to build an application that is aware of the network status and connectivity details. We also explain how to incorporate e-mail and FTP functionality directly into your application. We discuss security and caching for network-enabled applications. Finally, the presentation shows how to use the HttpListener class to write your own simple Web server with very little code.
