Event Overview

This webcast for the Java specialist presents a side-by-side comparison of the ASP.NET and Java servlets/Java ServerPages (JSP) architectures. Using a sample site written in both technologies, the session contrasts the main components of each, showing the .NET equivalents of filters, servlets, expression language (EL), and tag libraries. We conclude with a brief discussion of how globalization works in both environments.

Edgar Sanchez has been developing business applications for more than 20 years. He has worked with object-oriented platforms since the early days of Java. Currently he is the Microsoft Regional Director for Ecuador at Logic Studio, a Microsoft Certified Partner, where he and his team specialize in creating solutions using the Microsoft .NET Framework.
