Event Overview

A central requirement of any Web application server is a rich and flexible configuration and management system—one that not only enables you to easily associate settings with an installable application without having to "bake" values into code, but also gives administrators the ability to easily manage and customize these values after deployment. This webcast looks at some of the available management mechanisms in Microsoft ASP.NET, including a demonstration of the configuration system that provides a hierarchical infrastructure you can use to define extensible configuration data for use in your application, site, or computer. We also explore the full suite of tools included in ASP.NET to assist with configuring Web applications.
