TechNet Webcast: Upgrading to SQL Server 2005 (Level 200)  

Get the knowledge you need to upgrade a server running either Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000 to the recently released SQL Server 2005. This webcast introduces you to the tools and processes you need to make a smooth transition. You will learn about Upgrade Advisor, a tool for planning and preparation. You will also learn about two different upgrade strategies: the migration strategy (installing SQL Server 2005 on a new server and then migrating data), and the in-place strategy (upgrading your existing installation). Based on this information, you can decide which upgrade strategy is right for your servers, and plan your next steps.
