This webcast discusses the patterns & practices approach to security engineering and provides an overview of the different guidance modules. You will learn where to find prereleased and released guidance and view a demonstration of the security guidance available in an ASP.NET 2.0 application.

Presenter: Keith Brown, Partner, Pluralsight & Fritz Onion, Partner, Pluralsight

Keith Brown is a cofounder of Pluralsight, which focuses on security for developers. Besides writing the “Security Briefs” column for MSDN Magazine, he wrote The .NET Developer's Guide to Windows Security and Programming Windows Security and coauthored Effective COM. Keith spends most of his time researching security techniques and technologies and has spent almost a decade teaching and developing course material for professional software developers. Fritz Onion is a cofounder of Pluralsight. He focuses on Web development using Microsoft ASP.NET. He frequently publishes articles on .NET, and wrote Essential ASP.NET published by Addison Wesley and available in both Microsoft Visual C# and Microsoft Visual Basic .NET editions. The book’s second edition will cover Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0. Fritz is also a regular speaker at industry conferences and is the track chair for Web development at Win-Dev in Boston.
