Event Overview

Learn how to use Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition to create a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based application that provides a rich local experience regardless of available connectivity. Using Web services and the new State and Notifications Broker, this webcast walks you through the steps involved in implementing an intelligent data synchronization architecture. The demonstration application incorporates features such as a cost-based data synchronization plan that makes adjustments based on the available connectivity type, as well as "trickle" updates that allow the application to maintain the most up-to-date data possible in the face of intermittently available connectivity.
