Find out how you can use your existing Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft .NET Framework skills to develop a line-of-business application for a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based device. Using the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework and the Windows Mobile Software Development Kit, this webcast guides you through the steps of building, deploying, and debugging a Windows Mobile application with Visual Studio 2005. We also show you how to use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition to provide persistent storage and query capabilities. After watching this demonstration, you will be well prepared to build your first Windows Mobile application.

Presenter: Jim Wilson, President, JW Hedgehog Incorporated

Jim Wilson is president of JW Hedgehog, Inc., a New Hampshire-based consulting firm specializing in developing solutions for Microsoft Windows and Windows CE platforms. Jim has worked extensively with the Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft .NET Compact Framework since the original beta release of each. He is an instructor with DevelopMentor and author of their mobility curriculum. Jim often presents at technical events such as Tech·Ed, VSLive, and Microsoft Mobility DevCon, and regularly writes mobility articles for MSDN online.
