Presenter: Anand Iyer, Developer Community Champion, Microsoft Corporation

Anand Iyer brings a wealth of real-world coding experience to his work as Developer Community Champion for the Northern California district. Before joining Microsoft, he worked for a networking bellwether company in the Silicon Valley, pioneering XML-based manageability solutions for an embedded operating system. Anand has extensive experience in routing and switching technologies, and has worked on several development platforms, including Linux and Unix. He is fluent in C, C++ and Java, and scripting languages such as PERL. Anand graduated from Purdue University (Go Boilers!) with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering. He's an avid sports fan who stays close to the action through ESPN and in his spare time loves flying and talking about his niece.
