Parameter Manipulation is a term that many are familiar with, but few are aware of its exact meaning. In this presentation, we will demonstrate parameter manipulation tools and techniques and show how they can be used to exploit
a Web application. Learn how to protect against these types of attacks using parameter validation methods such as data conversion and regular expressions. We will also show how a hacker can gather sensitive data using unhandled exceptions and common elements
such as error messages, and how to prevent these attacks by appropriately handling errors and disabling default error messages.
