Event Overview

Software Architects has combined industry and technology knowledge to enable companies to effectively adhere to health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards by leveraging the advantages of Web-based reporting on off-shore rigs. Software Architects' solution streamlines the data collection and workflow processes, provides real-time reporting, and aids in the management and distribution of safety and environmental information.

Presenters:  Gary McDonald, Manager of Solution Services, Software Architects, Inc. & Eric Stevens, Managing Consultant/Enterprise Architect, Software Architects, Inc.

Mr. McDonald has over 10 years experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Software Architects, he gained experience in various vertical markets such as Technology, Financial, and Telecommunication. Since joining Software Architects in 2002, he has spent most of his time working in the Energy industry. Gary's experience spans five versions of Microsoft Visual Basic, four versions of Microsoft SQL Server, as well as integration experience with enterprise software vendors such as IBM and JD Edwards.

Mr. Stevens has been involved in multiple large-scale projects, taking them from inception to application deployment. Eric's responsibility includes managing all technical aspects of his projects and has taken a technical lead position in several. He is well versed in the Microsoft .NET architecture and environment and is comfortable in dealing with Microsoft SQL Server, Content Management and Oracle applications. He has a great understanding of both the pipeline and oil drilling services industries, having worked in both for several years.
