Event Overview

Reporting Services for SQL Server 2000 was introduced at the beginning of 2004. It allowed users to easily build and deploy interactive server based reports throughout their organizations. With the release of SQL Server 2005 there are many enhancements to the functionality provided by Reporting Services. In this web cast you will be introduced to the new features of Reporting Services in SQL Server 2005 including the new Report controls for Visual Studio. 

Presenter: Brian Welcker, Group Program Manager, Microsoft Corporation

Brian Welcker is Group Program Manager for SQL Server Reporting Services, part of the SQL Server product group. His team is focused on delivering the premier managed and ad-hoc enterprise reporting platform as part of SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. Before his current position, Brian was the lead program manager for SQL Server Meta Data Services as well as a technical evangelist in Microsoft's developer relations group. He joined Microsoft eight years ago after working for a company building software for hospitals and doctor's offices. Brian resides in Seattle, WA with his wife and 2 children.
