Rex Backman has been actively involved in enterprise IT management in a variety of assignments including research and development software development manager, solution marketing manager, and enterprise data center Management. At Microsoft, Rex currently
focuses on developing and marketing Microsoft System Center management solutions.
Jason Buffington is the senior technical product manager for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager. Jason has been working in the networking industry since 1989, focusing mainly on data protection and storage technologies. He is a Certified Business
Continuity Planner, MCSE, MCT, and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in storage technology. Jason has spoken around the world at numerous Microsoft events, and his work has been published in numerous industry journals. Jason studied computer science
at Texas A&M University.
James Galvin is a senior Microsoft System Center product manager. In this role, James markets and manages development of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and strategic independent software vendor (ISV) partner solutions for Operations Manager related
to network management, application monitoring, and heterogeneous management.
Jeff Wettlaufer has been with Microsoft for six years, where he has specialized in the deployment of enterprise infrastructure from the data center to the client. Jeff specializes in desktop deployment methodology, Windows and Microsoft Office technology, virtualization,
and enterprise management. He is also involved in image strategy, maintenance, application portfolio, unattended builds, the Microsoft Office Resource Kit, and server management technologies, such as Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003, System Center
Configuration Manager, and the Solution Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment (BDD).
