In this session, we focus on Windows Server 2008 server roles and the new Server Manager console, and we explain how Server Manager can be used effectively for configuring and deploying Windows Server 2008. We discuss server roles in depth, and describe how they play a crucial part in the Windows Server operation. Learn about some of the tools and features that Microsoft has developed to streamline the configuration and deployment of Windows Server 2008. Because server management within a Windows Server 2008 environment makes primary use of the Server Manager console, we look at how this new tool provides system administrators with a means to virtually view and manage all aspects of server productivity and health.
