The Microsoft Corporate Network is one of the world’s largest, most prominent networks and attracts intrusion

Presenter: Scott Culp, Microsoft Director, Network Security, Microsoft Corporation
Scott Culp is Director of Network Security for Microsoft Corporation. He serves in this capacity as a member of the Trustworthy Computing Team. The Network Security Team’s missions are to safeguard Microsoft’s digital assets, provide advanced digital forensics
in support of company policies, and contribute to the protection of the worldwide information ecosystem by partnering with security professionals in the critical infrastructure protection community and elsewhere.
Prior to his current role, Culp was a founder and then manager of the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), where he helped develop and implement the processes associated with one of the industry’s leading security response capabilities. Before coming
to Microsoft, Culp worked for 15 years in security-related fields, including communications security, cryptography and network defense.
