Event Overview
|
Communicating mission-critical human resources (HR) data in a visual manner can enhance comprehension, collaboration, and productivity across your organization. Microsoft Office Visio 2007 is the tool of
choice to easily create powerful, data-rich diagrams that help you to share complex information more effectively. In this webcast, we address the basics of Visio and how to take full advantage of the new features in Visio 2007. We cover organization charts,
workforce analytics, recruiting processes, additional Visio 2007 HR applications, floor plan seating charts, performance review timelines, workforce training analysis, and HR self-service Web site management. Discover how you can let employees focus on high-value
tasks by eliminating time-consuming data acquisition and organizational tasks. This webcast is designed for HR professionals.
Presenters: Dave Edson, Director of Consulting Services, Visibility.biz
David A. Edson was trained as an architect, holding degrees in architecture and architectural history. He has been involved in the computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) industry since 1985, both as a third-party developer to Autodesk and as an independent
consultant. Dave first began using Microsoft Office Visio as a tool for software development when it was introduced in 1992. For 10 years, Dave worked in the CADD field as a custom-programming manager with a focus on architectural-based products and custom
solutions. Dave has spent the last several years traveling the world training other developers in the use of both Visio and Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) as development and solutions platforms. Dave continued his evangelism efforts as a technical
product manager within the Microsoft Developer Tools division. Now, Dave is the director of consulting services and CTE with Visibility.biz, consulting to large corporations on a global basis and focusing on visual application development with Visio.
