Event Overview
|
More and more Windows Mobile powered devices ship with integrated global positioning system (GPS) hardware. Since people typically use Windows Mobile devices on the road, it makes a lot of sense to add location awareness
to your applications. In this Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN) webcast, we show how you can make proper use of the GPS Intermediate Driver to access GPS information from inside managed applications. We also discuss how to use the FakeGPS utility to test
location-enabled applications without needing access to physical GPS hardware.
Presenters: Constanze Roman, Community Program Manager, Microsoft Corporation, and Maarten Struys, Windows Mobile Developer Evangelist, PTS Software
