Event Overview

The one thing that can be counted on in software development is the need to manage change. Change must be managed from all directions: requirements, source code, builds, environments, and tests, to name a few. Traceability of these changes and the ability to plan for change throughout the process is important, yet often overlooked. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team System Team Foundation Server provides many tools to manage change throughout the application life cycle, from security in source control to management of work items.

Microsoft Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server are premier productivity and collaboration tools for every role on your software development team, including project managers, business analysts, software architects, software and database developers, testers, and deployment professionals. Team Foundation Server enables you to track the progress of your entire team with real-world results and powerful, out-of-the-box metrics. In this webcast, we discuss where change fits into our process and describe how to capture the data required to report the impact of change on our development plan using Team Foundation Server.
