It is an effective management and tracking tool after a project starts, helping you keep your project on track and your stakeholders aligned. Managing to the plan, understanding the impact of change, and taking corrective action quickly and effectively are important on any type of project. However, to increase your effectiveness as a project manager significantly, you should understand the techniques for using baseline functionality and tactics for setting the core baseline, how to reset the baseline, and how to save multiple baselines.
