Event Overview
|
Many surveys today list business intelligence (BI) at the top of software spending priorities for companies of all sizes. Yet, despite the time, money, and resources aligned against the goal of making better business
decisions, companies do not yet have a solution that lets them address these issues in a strategic fashion. Attend this webcast to understand how Microsoft is challenging our customers to "think bigger" about business intelligence, move beyond the rigid tools
and applications they are using today, and utilize our integrated solution of Microsoft Office Business Applications, Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft SQL Server, and PerformancePoint Server to provide an unbeatable combination of tools and applications
that helps individuals, teams, and organizations reach their full potential.
Presenter: Guy G. Weismantel, Director of Marketing, Microsoft Corporation
Guy G. Weismantel is the director of marketing with Microsoft in the company's Office Business Applications division, where he is responsible for the group's messaging and positioning of its business intelligence portfolio of products. Prior to joining Microsoft,
Guy was a senior director of corporate marketing with Business Objects where he was responsible for the company's performance management marketing operations. He has also held leadership positions at Manugistics, Inc., The Vista Technology Group, Baxter Healthcare,
and its spin-off Caremark International, where he was the manager of corporate finance in the internal audit department. Guy is a member of the American Marketing Association, and is a CPA in the state of Illinois. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting
from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
