Presenter: Vinny Gullotto, General Manager, Microsoft Corporation

Vinny Gullotto is the general manager of the Microsoft Malware Protection Center, where he oversees the strategies and research for protecting customers from viruses, malicious software (malware), and other security threats. Under Vinny's leadership, Microsoft Security Research and Response supplies the core malware-fighting technology in Windows Live OneCare, Windows Defender, the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, and the Microsoft Forefront security products. Before joining Microsoft, Vinny was the vice president of the Anti-virus Research and Vulnerability Emergency Response Team (AVERT) for McAfee, Inc. Vinny speaks at security conferences worldwide, and he testified before a congressional subcommittee about how the federal government responds to computer security threats in the United States. Vinny earned a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
