Join this session as we provide an overview of Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) now available in Microsoft SQL Server 2005. In this webcast, presenter Greg Low shares details on the 10 DMVs he considers most useful. We demonstrate how each of these top 10 DMVs might be used in a production environment, with an emphasis on performance tuning or troubleshooting applications. We also describe how you can use these DMVs for ongoing server monitoring.

Presenter: Greg Low, Consultant, Readify

The lead consultant for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with Readify, Greg Low is an internationally recognized consultant, developer, and trainer. He is a Microsoft SQL Server MVP, an MSDN Regional Director for Australia, and host of the "SQL Down Under" podcast. Greg has been working in development since 1978 and holds a PhD in computer science. He is also president of the Queensland MSDN Users Group and the Queensland SQL Server Users Group.
