Event Overview
|
Building on the Microsoft Threat Analysis and Modeling version 2.0 application, Microsoft Threat Analysis and Modeling Enterprise enables better use of knowledge through an aggregate analysis
of threat models. Threat Analysis and Modeling Enterprise provides central management and consistent distribution of information used to manage compliance with a wide variety of regulatory, security, and privacy requirements proactively. In this webcast, we
outline some of the features of these two products and explain why the applications were developed.
Presenter: Talhah Mir, Senior Security Technologist, Microsoft Corporation
Talhah Mir is a senior security technologist for Microsoft IT, where he has been involved in various areas of information security, including security assessment work and development of security courses. In his current role, Talhah is leading the effort in
bringing threat modeling to the application development space through focused, optimized methodologies and tools that help people who are not security experts gain maximum benefits of threat modeling through minimum investment. Talhah conducts various workshops
and talks on information security designed for academic faculty in addition to Fortune 500 companies. Talhah holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Toronto in Canada.
