Between 1995 and 1997, Weiguo Zhang worked on many critical issues for Microsoft Exchange Server. In 1997, he joined Microsoft as a developer in sustained engineering, where he helped resolve customer issues. He then worked on the Exchange Server storage team,
the Exchange Server Sustained Engineering team, and the Exchange Server Operational Tools Development team. For more than two years, Weiguo has been working on the Exchange Wizard Engine project. This project culminated in the delivery of Microsoft Exchange
Troubleshooting Assistant version 1.1., which is comprised of the Exchange Performance Troubleshooter Analyzer, Exchange Server Disaster Recovery Analyzer Tool, Exchange Mail Flow Analyzer, and other Exchange Server tools. Weiguo is also the primary owner
for the Exchange Server Disaster Recovery Analyzer.
