In this webcast, we discuss the next generation of networking features in Windows Server 2008 and the network security solution scenarios these features enable. We examine the new Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, Server and Domain Isolation, and Network Access Protection (NAP). Presenters: Amith Krishnan, Senior Product Manager, Microsoft Corporation, and Ian Hammeroff, Senior Product Manager, Microsoft Corporation

Amith Krishnan is a senior product manager with the Microsoft Security and Access Product Marketing group, where he is responsible for product management and marketing of Network Access Protection (NAP) and the enterprise wireless solutions enabled by Windows Server. Before he joined Microsoft, Amith was a product manager for the enterprise wireless networking product line at the 3Com Corporation. Before 3Com, Amith was a product manager and technical marketing engineer with Roving Planet. Amith holds a master's degree in telecommunications from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a bachelor's degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Mumbai in India.

As product manager in the Security, Access, and Solutions Division at Microsoft, Ian Hameroff is responsible for the product management and marketing of Microsoft core networking technologies. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2004, Ian spent six years working with security and enterprise management products at Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). Ian holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Plattsburgh State University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
