Event Overview

In this session, we introduce you to Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), a component in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 that enables you to share user identity information securely by addressing common challenges. Join us to see how ADFS provides identity federation technologies to authenticate a user to multiple Web applications over the life of a single online session. We cover best practices for deployment, and we describe how to configure your federation servers, federation server proxies, and ADFS Web agents. We also explore some canonical ADFS application types and show you how to deploy them.
