Event Overview

Microsoft offers an array of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) APIs for everything from developing top-notch dedicated OLAP applications to just adding OLAP functionality to your existing applications. In this webcast, we cover the ADOMD.NET object model for OLAP data access, the Analysis Management Objects (AMO) library for OLAP database management, and XMLA for a SOAP-based combination of the two. We also look at AdomdServer, which makes it possible to store Microsoft .NET common language runtime (CLR) procedures and functions for your OLAP cubes. Join this session to learn how to write applications and queries that take full advantage of the OLAP capabilities in Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
