Event Overview

The Business Productivity Infrastructure Optimization (BPIO) model helps companies build business productivity infrastructure to fuel business growth and transform their IT infrastructure into a strategic asset. People drive business outcomes, but companies are challenged to achieve higher information worker productivity and effectiveness, while minimizing the cost and complexity of IT infrastructure. This is especially challenging for IT managers, who keep the IT infrastructure running while planning for company growth over the long term. In this webcast, we describe how the industry-based BPIO model can help IT managers accomplish both. We provide an overview of the BPIO model, and illustrate how Microsoft IT applied the BPIO model and benefited from the increased business productivity.

Presenters: Barbie Stafford, Senior Product Manager, Microsoft Corporation, and, Sean Squires, Microsoft IT Program Manager, Microsoft Corporation
