Event Overview
|
The extreme portability of Windows Mobile powered devices makes Windows Mobile a great platform for game play. Windows Mobile also serves as an excellent platform for game development due to the rich graphics capabilities of Windows
Mobile powered devices and the availability of native gaming application programming interfaces (APIs). In this webcast, we highlight the features of Windows Mobile that are useful in game development, and we discuss the DirectDraw, DirectShow, and Direct3D
Mobile APIs. We also provide guidelines on how to develop a game that takes full advantage of the Windows Mobile platform. Both native code and managed code game development are covered in this session.
Presenter: Jim Wilson, MVP, S&T Consulting
