Event Overview

Part Seven of this webcast series covered adding data-driven functionality to our sample application. In Part Eight, we explain how to use the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 State and Notification Broker application programming interface (API) to determine whether the host device is connected to a network. We also show you how to intercept text messages to be processed by our application instead of appearing in the Inbox of the host device.

Maarten Struys is responsible for the Real-Time and Embedded Competence Centre at PTS Software. Maarten has worked with managed code in Microsoft .NET environments since 2000. He has experience with Microsoft Windows CE and has worked with Windows Mobile development since its introduction.
