Event Overview

How much down time can your business afford? More than 50% of companies that experience a major data loss will close their doors forever. Increasing rates of data growth, higher service level expectations, and tighter technology
budgets have left IT managers with fewer resources to protect critical data. Join HP and Microsoft for a webcast that presents strategies that you can use to protect your data while lowering IT costs. Learn about the HP ProLiant Data Protection Storage Server,
a disk-based backup solution that is easy to deploy, powered by Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2006, and built on the ProLiant server platform.
Presenters: Dave Ryan, Sr. Product Manager, Microsoft Corporation, and Brad Parks, Product Marketing Manager, HP
Dave Ryan is a Senior Product Manager in Microsoft’s Server and Tools Division. In this role Ryan leads all marketing efforts and partner programs for a new backup and recovery product named System Center Data Protection Manager.
Before joining the Server Marketing team, Ryan worked in the Windows Client Division. His role included product management for Windows XP and Windows Messenger in addition to partner business development responsibilities. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2001,
Dave earned a MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked in politics.
As a worldwide product marketing manager for the HP Network Attached Storage division, Brad Parks leads the HP partnership with Microsoft on System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM) 2006. Brad is responsible for developing,
managing, and marketing of the HP ProLiant Data Protection Storage Server family of products powered by Microsoft DPM 2006. Before he joined HP, Brad was the director of IT at a small technology company.
