Julius Sinkevicius started working in information technology in 1991 and has held various positions in systems and network administration. In 1998, he joined the Microsoft Consulting Services group and worked with some of Canada's largest companies deploying infrastructure servers. In 2000, he moved to the Microsoft Learning and Tablet PC groups. Julius later joined the Windows Server group as a senior product manager for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 and Microsoft Windows Server code-named "Longhorn".

As a director in the Windows Server group at Microsoft, Eric Kidd is responsible for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2. In this role, he works with the marketing team in defining Windows Server 2003 R2 as a product, and provides leadership in product development and release execution. Before working at Microsoft, Eric was a software engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and later joined Digital Equipment Corporation where he was responsible for development of AltaVista's core search technologies.
