Regardless of how advanced your programming skills are or how many flashy tools are available in your toolbox, you will always need to jump into the debugger at some point in the process to see what is going wrong. Learn about the host of new goodies in Visual Studio 2005 that can make the debugging process more productive and efficient for everyone. We will discuss a wide range of tools and techniques including generics, anonymous methods in C#, Master Pages in ASP.NET, and many of the new controls in Windows Forms, to name just a few.  

 

Presenter: David Waddleton, Developer Community Champion, Microsoft Corporation

 

David Waddleton is a Developer Community Champion for the Gulf Coast district, based in Houston. David has been developing for 11 years as an architect designing and developing enterprise Web sites for clients, specializing in Web and SQL development. His wide-ranging experience has included wireless manufacturing devices and commercial Web applications, and he has participated in and led development teams ranging from small to enterprise levels. He has also authored and edited several Visual Basic .NET certification books. David is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR, where he received a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Math.
