In addition, we discuss the challenges of Web application security throughout the development life cycle, and the available methods and tools used to test the security of Web-based applications. Learn how to test a Web application using a Web browser and the inherent limitations of this approach, and also learn what obstacles must be overcome during application testing to ensure proper security.

Dennis Hurst works with developers to educate them on the need for Web Application security and protecting Web Applications from hacking attacks. Dennis has more than 15 years experience in the Information Systems/Application Development industry and he is an expert in system design, implementation, and maintenance of complex multi-vendor, multi-platform computer applications and networks.

Caleb Sima is widely known within the Internet security community for his expertise in penetration testing and his ability to identify emerging security threats. He began his security career at the S1 Corporation in 1996 and then joined Internet Security Systems as a member of the X-Force.
