This session demonstrates the proper technique for testing a Web application to ensure that it is properly secure. In addition, we discuss the challenges of Web application security throughout the development life cycle, and
the available methods and tools used to test the security of Web-based applications. Learn how to test a Web application using a Web browser and the inherent limitations of this approach, and also learn what obstacles must be overcome during application testing
to ensure proper security.

Caleb Sima is widely known within the Internet security community for his expertise in penetration testing and his ability to identify emerging security threats. He began his security career at the S1 Corporation in 1996 and then joined Internet Security Systems
as a member of the X-Force.
