Event Overview

If you're a Web site administrator, you've probably been asked many times to modify settings for Microsoft ASP.NET developers who do not have Microsoft Windows Administrator credentials. It's important for administrators to know about the Global Assembly Cache (GAC), Web.config settings, and how to use temporary ASP.NET files with the aspnet_regiis.exe command-line utility. Join us for a no-holds-barred look at key aspects of ASP.NET -- from a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) administration perspective.

Presenter: Chris Adams, Supportability Beta Lead, Microsoft Corporation

Chris Adams has been with Microsoft for 4 years and has spent his tenure completely dedicated to supporting the IIS products. He began as a support engineer in 2000, and was promoted in 2002 to a Technical Lead in Microsoft Product Support Services. He currently resides in Redmond with the IIS product group representing PSS as a supportability Lead. Chris is actively certified as a MCP, MCSA, and MCSE on the NT 4 and Windows 2000 platforms.
